Russian Classical Ballet Theatre was founded in 2005 under the direction of Valentin Grisсhenko. Necessity in a young and perspective theatre with the potential both in classical and contemporary choreography was the reason of this troupe creation. "Talent and devotion to the classical Russian ballet traditions" is the motto and the main goal of this theatre. One of the principles is a continual search of new form in choreograph, discovering new directions in choreographic art.
Basis of the repertoire are such masterpieces of world ballet as "Giselle", "Romeo and Juliette", "Carmen Suite", "Les Sylphides", "Walpurgis night", "Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs", "Cinderella", "Swan lake", "Nutcracker", "Sleeping beauty" etc.
Deep characters which were created be great masters such as M. Petipa, A. Gorskiy, L.Ivanov, G.Perrault, G. Coralli are still urgent and attract the audience. Nowadays the troupe contains more than 40 artists, graduates from the strongest choreography schools from Moscow, St.Petersburg, Perm, Novosibirsk, Kiev etc.
The soloists of this troupe laureates and participants of the international contests danced at the world famous theaters in France, England, Italy, Spain, USA, Japan etc. Every year the audience of Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin and North America could watch the performances of this theatre.
